Dr. Abernathy’s traumatic medical emergency and amazing near-death experience
was only the beginning of an incredible life journey that includes the ability to see the
human aura and direct contact with a stunning miracle known as “The Guides.”
These 7 Spirit Guides have been Dr. Peg’s teachers for over 20 years and now, in an effort to share their teachings with all of us, she wrote her life story in the new book, “The Self-Full Life: A True Story That Will Help Your Soul Remember.” After being told to lay her hands upon a laptop computer while in deep meditation, Dr. Peg was amazed upon awakening to see the channeled messages typed in clear, concise order. Simply stated, her ability to type out, word for word, teachings from the other side have helped countless people to view their life through their centered Self.

Dr. Peg Abernathy is an author, speaker, teacher, spiritual vocalist and personal
expert on Spirit Guides and Near-Death experiences. She is an ordained Minister in Ancient Thought, New Wisdom, and holds a Doctorate degree in Theology. She teaches classes and conducts healing nights at UCG Institute in Los Angeles. She has been featured as a spiritual vocalist and lecturer at many high profile spiritual venues including:

Dr. Peg Abernathy grew up traveling the country. The fact that she was in 5 schools in 6 years caused a need to quickly adapt, be open to change, and meet new people. In her early adolescence, she was dubbed a “prodigy” as her singing voice emerged and astonished the adults and teachers who took in her amazing adult-sounding vocal ability. However, her strong determination and unwillingness to “go along with the crowd” caused her to be ostracized and taunted by the other teenagers who didn’t understand being different. Her strong Catholic faith literally kept her alive as thoughts of suicide were superceded by “the sin” and eternal damnation.

A few years later, Hollywood beckoned.

As she bloomed into a young beauty, she was, once again, encumbered to change her individuality and “go along with the crowd”. Hollywood wanted thinner, blonder, more cleavage, fewer freckles, availability to date and a willingness to be morphed into the norm. This confusing existence caused a soul vs. human conflict and she began to develop incapacitating stage fright. Yet she was able to continue on and became a much sought after live performer and studio session singer.

A few years later, Spirit beckoned.

One night, while performing live on stage, a traumatic medical emergency caused her to be rushed to the hospital where she lost her fight to continue her life journey…

“… I found myself alone and I lay there as my body was being ravaged. I remember staring at the clock on the wall. 11:45pm, 11:46pm, 11:47pm. Where was everybody? “Help me!” I whispered. All of a sudden, the thought of death passed through my body and I began to hear a low hum and then a soft roaring sound. I heard bells go off and I rolled over and grabbed the bars on the side of the hospital bed. My eyes were wide open but I could no longer see. All I could hear was the escalating roaring sound and distant voices. And I knew I was dying. I stopped fighting. I was going home.”….from The Self-Full Life.

Her old life had died. Her new life revealed itself in the form of 7 Spirit Guides existing in a magical spiritual realm. Yet she needed “proof” of their existence. She needed proof that she wasn’t crazy.

A few years later, Medical Science beckoned.

The truth was confirmed. The diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes by a Spirit Guide was confirmed by a medical diagnosis, and there was no turning back.

Dr. Peg is a featured singer on The Children’s Charity Christmas CD 2005 - Yamaha Corporation and has over 100 vocal commercials, film and television themes to her credit.
